Service Description

Focus AI is a mobile application that allows users to upload documents and sources to perform AI-assisted note-taking, summarization, flashcard and quiz generation.

Platform

The app runs on iOS and is also accessible via web browser. Apple is not responsible for the provision of the service.

Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or terminate the service with or without prior notice. Users will be notified by email of significant changes.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. Users under 18 must obtain parental or guardian consent.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all actions taken through your account.

Password Security

Do not share your password with anyone. Report suspected unauthorized access immediately to support@focusai.app.

Permitted Use

You may use the app for personal or business note-taking, learning, research and knowledge management.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use the app to process illegal content, infringe third-party intellectual property rights, generate spam, or take actions intended to harm the system.

Content Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that content you upload is lawful and does not infringe the rights of third parties.

App Rights

The Focus AI brand, logo, interface and software belong to us. They may not be reproduced, distributed or used to create derivative works without written permission.

User Content

Content you upload to the app belongs to you. You grant us a license to process this content for service delivery purposes; however, this license does not transfer ownership of your content.

Generated Content

Summaries, flashcards and quizzes generated by Focus AI are derived from your uploaded sources and are available for your personal or commercial use.

Free Plan

Core features are provided free of charge. The scope of the free plan may change with prior notice.

Pro Subscription

The Pro plan can be purchased monthly or annually through the App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period.

Cancellation and Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time through Apple account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. No refunds are issued for used periods; however, Apple's refund policies remain applicable.

Price Changes

Subscription prices may change. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any change.

Privacy Policy

Our data collection and usage practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

Service Warranty

The service is provided "as is." No warranty is given for uninterrupted, error-free operation or fitness for a particular purpose.

AI Outputs

AI-generated summaries, flashcards and answers are for informational purposes. It is the user's responsibility to verify accuracy against source documents.

Liability Limit

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Focus AI's total liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the last 12 months.

User Termination

You may close your account at any time through app settings or by emailing support@focusai.app.

Service Termination

If you violate these terms, your account may be suspended or closed without prior notice.

Post-Termination

After account closure, your data will be deleted within the period specified in our Privacy Policy.

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Istanbul courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction over disputes.

Relationship with Apple

These terms are between Focus AI and you. Apple is not a party to these terms and assumes no obligations. Apple's standard terms for apps downloaded from the App Store also apply separately.
